Web 2.0 for readers

April 8th, 2009 by Nat JM

I use Facebook to keep in touch with my friends, I use Twitter to keep in touch with people with interesting things to share, and I use Last fm to discover new music and connect with other music addicts. However, I’m not quite sure which social networking website to use to find out about new books I might like and to connect with book lovers.

I have registered with Shelfari but I am in two minds about it (the groups look a bit dead).

Shelfari isn’t the only social networking website for readers out there though. Read this article to find out more about Shelfari, Library Thing, GoodReads and Readersville.

Which one do you use? What do you think of it? What is the best website to find new recommendations for books and have meaningful and interesting conversations with other book lovers?
